J. M. (Jay) Meena, PE
President Jay Meena joined Whitney Equipment Company in 1989 as Vice President. In 1992, he purchased controlling interest in the company from Gerry Whitney and is now the majority shareholder and president. Jay was previously employed by Wallace & Tiernan, a large chemical feed manufacturer, as Western Regional Resale Manager from 1984 to 1989 and worked for several water and wastewater representatives from 1981-1984 in Boise, ID. Jay is a Civil Engineer graduate from the University of Wyoming and is licensed in the state of Washington.
William W.Carson, PE
Vice President Bill Carson joined Whitney Equipment in 1992. He is currently active as Vice President and Director of Municipal Sales. He was employed from 1985-1991 by Meredith Construction, Bellevue, WA as chief engineer. From 1980 to 1985 he was employed at S J Groves & Sons, Bellevue, WA, as project engineer and senior estimator. Other employment included Genstar Construction, Bellevue, WA, 1977-1980 as project engineer/senior estimator, and the Oregon State Highway Department, as a bridge engineer. Bill is a Civil Engineer graduate from Northeastern University and is licensed in the states of Washington and Oregon.
Richard O. Hawley
Industrial Division Manager
Secretary / Treasurer Rick Hawley has worked with Whitney Equipment Company since 1975. Rick has been an integral part of the inside sales team at Whitney Equipment for many years. He is currently the Industrial Division Manager for all product lines represented at Whitney. Rick is a Mechanical Engineer graduate from the University of Washington.
